Local moves start at $500. Long distance moves start at $999. Your exact price depends on home size, stairs, distance, and any specialty items. We give you a flat-rate written quote up front — no hidden fuel surcharges or weight surprises.

Both. For local moves under 50 miles we offer hourly pricing or a flat-rate quote, whichever you prefer. For long distance and commercial moves, we default to flat-rate pricing locked in writing before we load the truck.

We serve Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange counties as our home markets — including Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Newburgh, Middletown, New Paltz, Beacon, Hyde Park, Saugerties, and Wappingers Falls. Long distance, we ship to all 48 contiguous states.

Yes. We carry full commercial liability, cargo, and workers’ comp insurance for local and interstate moves. For long distance moves we are FMCSA-registered and can provide our USDOT and MC numbers on request.

For weekday local moves, 1–2 weeks’ notice is usually fine. Weekends and end-of-month dates book out 3–4 weeks in advance. Peak summer season (June–August) fills 4–6 weeks ahead, so book early to lock in your date.

Yes. We supply professional-grade moving boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, wardrobe boxes, TV boxes, and mattress covers. You can buy as many or as few as you need, or add full-pack service so our crew packs everything for you.

Yes. We have dedicated piano moving equipment, stair climbers, and crews trained for uprights, baby grands, grands, gun safes, hot tubs, pool tables, and large art pieces. Mention specialty items when you book so we can plan the right equipment.

Every move includes a detailed move plan, floor runners and furniture pads, blanket-wrap protection on all furniture, free shrink-wrap, bed disassembly and reassembly, mirror dismount and remount, a fully equipped truck, and a uniformed foreman-led crew. Fuel and mileage are included on every flat-rate quote.

On hourly moves, you only pay for the time we actually work. On flat-rate moves, the price is locked — if we finish early you still pay the agreed price, and if it runs long you don’t pay a penny more.

At least one decision-maker should be present at pickup and delivery to sign paperwork, direct furniture placement, and answer access questions. You don’t need to lift a finger — we handle all loading, transport, and placement.

We offer standard valuation coverage included at no charge and full-value replacement protection for an additional fee. If anything is damaged, report it in writing within 9 months (interstate) or per your state rules (local). We resolve claims quickly and honestly.

Tipping is appreciated but never required. If you’re happy with the crew, a common range is 10–20% of the total or $20–$40 per mover for a half-day, $40–$80 per mover for a full-day move. Cash at the end of the move is preferred.
